What is the U-type Heat Exchanger?

A U-type heat exchanger is a type of heat exchanger that consists of two parallel tubes (usually made of metal) bent in the shape of the letter "U". The tubes are enclosed within a shell, and the fluid to be heated or cooled flows through one tube while the fluid used for heating or cooling flows through the other tube. What is the application of U type heat exchanger?

1.HVAC systems: U-type heat exchangers are commonly used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to transfer heat between the supply air and the outdoor or return air. These heat exchangers help in recovering heat from the exhaust air and preheating or precooling the incoming air, improving energy efficiency.
